Caring Fellowship
Caring Fellowship is a committee devoted to becoming a caring task force within the church, community and the world.  It is the  umbrella which oversees many parish outreach projects, such as Operation Christmas Child, CAS Christmas family sponsorship, Christmas Dinner.  The committee meets monthly, and all interested persons are welcome to join us.
Anglican Church Women (A.C.W.)
Meet on the 2nd Monday of each month at 1:30 p.m. in the lounge.  Our ministry is to help raise funds by making and selling pies, and hosting a yearly “Everything Sale”.  We support a Foster child, help to send children to camp and support St. John’s.  We also help with different meals including Funeral receptions.
Caring Cooks is a new ministry which supplies a meal to families who are experiencing illness, bereavement or birth of a child.

Coffee Hour There are no meetings.  If you would like to volunteer to take care of coffee hour following the Sunday service at 10:30 a.m., please contact us johnst@mnsi.net.  Coffee, tea, juice and cookies provided by church.

Crafters are a group of individuals who meet in the library / lounge on Tuesday afternoons at 1:30 p.m. throughout most of the year except the summer months.  You do not need to be a member of St. John’s to be a crafter.  Individuals work on personal craft projects, whether it be knitting, crocheting, needlepoint, sewing, plastic canvas, or  trading recipes.  Maybe you prefer to converse and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and a cookie, at the meetings end.  The group hosts two events: a March dessert card party and a November craft and bake sale.  Money raised helps to support other ministries here at St. John’s.
Following the Sunday morning service flowers from the altar are placed in vases and are delivered to shut-ins by a group of scheduled volunteers.  This is an effortless but rewarding ministry that brightens many people’s day.
